I made a little search on a complete open source solution about digital signage and I found two interesting softwares:
- Concerto: it was developed as academic project and it has a live CD ISO
- Xibo: it is in launchpad, his community seems bigger than Concerto one
Both are web based and they supports images, text, video, flash, website, PPT, RSS and PDF.
They are good alternatives to classic digital signage solution and they don’t costs thousand of dollars/euro.

I like a lot of things, like everybody, but I don’t have any religion. I looked for a way in the past, a true way, my way. Maybe I found it, maybe I found it about two years ago, after a bad period. Only now I realize it: it’s Indie, Indie way. It’s a taste, I call it the Indie taste.
It started with Indie music, little production, raw sounds, no middle-man:
Indie does not mean underground, don’t mean few fans, Indie mean a way to do it and it’s stunning his beauty.
It’s a taste in that beauty, it’s a nous.
